Peter Bushby commenced his current Real Estate Agency practice, Peter Bushby Real Estate in 1997 focusing on Launceston’s southern suburbs and this has expanded particularly with Roger Bell joining his practice. Whilst Peter still has a special focus on the Norwood area where his business is based they sell properties across the greater Launceston area including the Tamar Valley and the northern midlands commuter towns. They offer a personalised service and as an integral part of their operational philosophy only handle a manageable number of properties at one time to ensure that the appropriate level of activity is directed to each property listed in their care. This business plan has proven a highly successful package with excellent sales results for more than a decade!
With the rapid advances in technology it made it possible for Peter to base his office at his home at 45 Benwerrin Crescent at Norwood and yet offer an effective, quality service to the public. We have several visual local property display boards at the Norwood Post office and in the city in the Old Brisbane Arcade that work well as our shop front.
Peter, who has enjoyed an long and successful career in real estate is prepared to put back into the industry and is currently State President of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania. In 2007 he was made an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia and is one of only three Tasmanians to hold a REIA Certificate in Commercial & Industrial Practice.
In 1996 following 23 years involvement he sold his 50% share holding in Bushby First National and the knowledge gained over these years together with four years experience as a director on the national board of one of the nations biggest real estate groups gave him a clear understanding of what is required to deliver the right service levels to make sales - He assures you that you do not need to be big to be effective.
